Terms of Service

Welcome to Perandoria ("Game" or "Service"), a free browser-based space strategy massively multiplayer online game provided by Perandoria LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and us. We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised Terms on the website. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction to form a binding contract) to create an account or use the Service. If you are between 13 and 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. Accounts created by users under the minimum age may be terminated without notice.

3. Account Registration and Security

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as needed. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We reserve the right to refuse registration or terminate accounts at our sole discretion.

One account per person. Multi-accounting, account sharing, or using automated means to create multiple accounts is prohibited and may result in permanent bans.

4. License to Use the Service

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes, subject to your compliance with these Terms. The Service consists of software and online services, all governed by these Terms.

You may not: (a) copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service; (c) distribute, rent, lease, or sell the Service; or (d) use the Service for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.

5. User Conduct and Game Rules

You agree to comply with all applicable laws and these Terms. You may not:

• Use cheats, bots, scripts, macros, exploits, or any third-party software that provides an unfair advantage or modifies gameplay.
• Harass, threaten, bully, or abuse other players, including through chat, forums, or in-game actions.
• Impersonate any person, including our staff, or spread false information.
• Post, transmit, or share illegal, obscene, defamatory, discriminatory, or hateful content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
• Engage in spamming, phishing, or any form of unsolicited advertising.
• Exploit bugs or glitches for personal gain; report them to us instead.

Additional game-specific rules may be posted in-game or on our website and are incorporated into these Terms. Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans, at our sole discretion. We are not obligated to provide refunds or compensation for terminated accounts.

6. Intellectual Property

All content in the Service, including text, graphics, logos, images, sounds, music, artwork, code, and software ("Content"), is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use any Content except as expressly permitted by these Terms.

User-generated content ("UGC") you create, such as in-game messages or customizations, grants us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, distribute, and display such UGC in connection with the Service.

7. Purchases and Virtual Items

The Service is currently free to play. If we introduce optional in-game purchases, subscriptions, or virtual currency ("Virtual Items"), they are licensed to you on a limited, non-transferable basis. Virtual Items have no real-world value and cannot be redeemed for cash. All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as stated in our Refund Policy or required by law.

We may change pricing, availability, or features of Virtual Items at any time. You are responsible for all charges incurred, including applicable taxes.

8. User-Generated Content Policy

You are responsible for any UGC you submit. UGC must not violate these Terms or infringe third-party rights. We may monitor, edit, or remove UGC at our discretion but have no obligation to do so.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice or liability. Upon termination, your license to use the Service ends, and you must cease all use.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the six months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

14. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remainder shall continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us.
